2007 marks the
twentieth anniversary of Aeros.

Aeros – built from a
dream of becoming the worldwide leader in the industry of the
lighter-than-air vehicles – commemorates 20 years of excellence. A
celebration took place at one of the most sophisticated restaurants in the
heart of Hollywood, California. All Aeros personnel attended the
gathering and reflected on the memorable history and celebrated the
company’s future, which promises to be the most incredible period of
technological innovation yet.
Over the years, Aeros has
progressed significantly in all areas of the lighter-than-air industry.
From small advertising aerostats to sophisticated tethered aerostatic
systems, and from the single sit Aeros 50 airship to the FAA Type
Certified Aeros 40D Sky Dragon – the most technologically advanced airship
on the market, Aeros maintains its leadership as one of the premier
manufacturers of all types of LTA platforms.
Aeros’ innovative
spirit has led and continues to be the constant driver for breakthrough
technologies. The active flight management system was introduced and type
certified by Worldwide Aeros and, for the first time in LTA history,
integrated onto an airship. This is one of the examples of the many
technological advances originally introduced by Aeros.
The expertise in
high altitude airship platforms and heavy lift air vehicles has made Aeros
a key player on all major high profile government LTA programs.
Ahead of the company
lays the development of the new type of air vehicle – the Aeroscraft – to
answer fast raising demand for better cargo transportation. With the
accomplished and demonstrated buoyancy management solution – something
that has not been done before in the history of aviation, – innovative
structure design and low speed maneuverability system, Aeros has begun
production of the first Aeroscraft model.
