The word Aeroscraft describes a flying craft that derives its lift partially from lifting gas (helium) and partially from the traditional dynamic lift created by the shape of the body. Aeros has designed a craft that takes advantage of both methods of lift.

This design approach has resulted in the evolution of a craft that can fly further, operate more economically, and lift more than any other craft in the skies. The Aeroscraft has been designed to fill the very widest range of missions and conditions.

Characterized by its oversized payload bay, the Aeroscraft is a natural configuration to be adapted to luxury tour travel, allowing an unordinary space allotment to each passenger. For the same reason the craft can easily be adapted to a cost effective low density cargo or perishable goods hauler.

DARPA's Walrus program will develop and evaluate a very large airlift vehicle concept designed to control lift in all stages of air or ground operations including the ability to off-load payload without taking on-board ballast other than surrounding air. In distinct contrast to earlier generation airships, the Walrus aircraft will be a heavier-than-air vehicle and will generate lift through a combination of aerodynamics, thrust vectoring and gas buoyancy generation and management.

The Walrus operational vehicle (OV) is envisioned to have the primary operational task of deploying composite loads of personnel and equipment (for example, the components of an Army Unit of Action) ready to fight within six hours after disembarking the aircraft. Walrus will operate without significant infrastructure and from unimproved landing sites, including rough ground having nominal five-foot-high obstacles. It is intended to carry a payload of more than 500 tons 12,000 nautical miles in less than seven days at a competitive cost. Additionally, Walrus will be capable of performing theater lift and supporting sea-basing and persistence missions to meet a range of multi-Service needs.

Freighter

It is important to select the means of transport that provides the lowest cost based on the time, size and weight constraints of what is shipped.  Availability, punctuality, reliability, security and safety are among the factors to be considered, along with transportation cost, speedy delivery to customer warehouses, inventory demands, product quality and packaging requirements.

The Aeroscraft will have a particular advantage relative to other means of transportation for certain types of cargos.  Time sensitive cargos that are currently shipped by land due to cost size and weight limitations of airfreight will be attracted to the speed of the Aeroscraft.  Shipments that require multiple shipping vectors, such as truck to ship to truck, truck to aircraft to truck, etc. will benefit from the direct delivery capabilities of the craft.  Where infrastructure is limited or does not exist, Aeroscraft will deliver the goods in a more timely and efficient manner.

Commuter

A revolutionary new type of air vehicle is at your service.

In the world of private aviation, Aeroscraft stands alone, offering security, comfort and satisfaction at or exceeding the highest standards of excellence in the aviation industry.

The Aeroscraft is the most luxurious and reliable way to travel.  Not only it offers an exceptional service and comfort that far exceeds the first class of the  conventional airplane or any private jet, it will make your experience of air travel extraordinary. On board of the Aeroscraft, the traveler will find a bar, gift shop and more leg room than any first class service could ever dream about.  Aeroscraft will provide more space and better service than the finest first class, at a dramatically lower price.  It is a completely different level of air travel. Without a doubt, the Aeroscraft will fulfill the most important agenda in the world -yours.

Experience the best that the aviation industry has to offer: travel with Aeroscraft - your private piece of the sky!!!

City to City Commuting

For short-haul markets, The Short Take-Off and Landing (“STOL”) capability of Aeroscraft, its relatively low noise, and efficient fuel consumption (due to lower power levels) give the Aeroscraft power advantages.  Aeroscraft will be comfortably competitive in short-haul markets, which have to date been largely uneconomical for traditional airliners.  The airlines have largely abandoned service routes between 20 and 300 miles, but Aeroscraft could operate profitably in these markets, restore service between city centers and even minor airports, and work as a feeder to international airports and hubs.

Vacation adventure

Luxury cruising was the exclusive pursuit of the rich and the comfortable not half a century ago.  In recent years, as an entire post-World War II generation approaches retirement, vacation ocean cruises have become affordable to the middle-class masses and cruise ship construction has never been more active.   But what if this popular form of leisure travel were offered in luxurious quarters above the ocean’s surface – in a craft that could soar right past crowded ports and congested highways, skimming just above forests and canyons, then directly delivering its passengers to inland resorts and national parks hundreds of miles from the sea?

That and more is the promise of the Aeroscraft cruise liner – an airship like those only imagined more than a century ago by adventure writers like H. G. Wells and Jules Verne but one updated with the safe technologies of today – visiting remote corners of the world in shipboard luxury that are unreachable by roads and feature no airports.  From party cruises that last a day to worldwide voyaging that lasts a month or more, the Aeroscraft cruise liners will rewrite the book on adventure travel.
