Position: 

Senior Program Manager

Type:  

Full Time

Description: 

We require a Senior Program Manager with the ability to take control and manage a complex mechanical program through design, integration, testing and delivery.

The person will have a strong engineering background as well as proven program management experience. The program will include supplier and sub contractor negotiations, monitoring and delivery of all parts, integration and testing. Scheduling, resource identification and allocation are part of the job.

Our Customer and some Suppliers are OCONUS, so a liberal amount of travel will be necessary to complete the program. Customer liaison will encompass constant work and preparations for PDR, CDR and acceptance testing of product will fall under the responsibility of the program manager.

The candidate will have demonstrated success in all areas described above and have the ability to drive the program to stay on budget and schedule. This is a position for someone looking to challenge themselves and find satisfaction in task completion. It is a leadership role that will require more than an eight hour per day approach.

The candidate will be given the freedom make the decisions needed on a day to day basis. The initial program will develop a new business sector for our Company, and the initiator will continue to lead the future growth in this area.

Qualifications: 

At least 5 years experience at a top level program/project management position

  • Engineering degree mechanical or electrical

  • Free to travel and be away from home for periods of time

  • Familiar with Autocad and Solidworks

  • Expert with scheduling software like MS Project

  • Motivate and leadership skills

  • Customer and supplier relations are critical for success

Position: 

Engineers:  Mechanical, Structural, Design, Aerospace, etc.    

Type:  

Full Time

Description: 

Aeros requires detail-oriented Mechanical/Structural or Aerospace Engineers with strong analytical skills and practical manufacturing experience to assist in the design and prototyping of a new type of aircraft.

Aeros offers competitive salaries and benefits including medical and 401(k) plan.

Qualifications: 

The individuals must:

  • Possess BSME, BSCE or Aerospace degree and have a minimum of 2 years experience in design of steel or aluminum structures or heavy machinery.

  • Be competent to undertake subsystem and component design, create solid models and parts lists, detailed designs, estimate and track weight data, structural analysis of frames and structures, component selection, and preparation of test specifications.

  • Must be able to work in a multi-national team environment, having strong communications skills and good self-motivation.  Will be required to lead small projects.

  • Must be able to work with the drafting department to prepare and approve production drawings.

  • Must be able to work with production engineers and technicians to resolve manufacturing discrepancies.

Avionics Engineer/Technician

Description: 

Aeros requires detail-oriented Avionics Engineer/Technician with strong analytical skills and practical manufacturing experience to assist in the design, prototyping and system integration of a new type of aircraft.

Qualifications: 

The individuals must:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years experience with avionics systems, electrical systems and instruments, manufacturing harnesses and related tools.

  • Be competent to undertake subsystem and component design, create schematics, component selection, and preparation of test specifications.

  • Must be able to work in a multi-national team environment, having strong communications skills and good self-motivation.  Will be required to lead small projects.

  • AutoCAD knowledge applied to electronic systems is a must. Must be able to work with the drafting department to prepare and approve production drawings.

  • Airframe and Powerplant License is a plus. Must be able to work with production engineers and technicians to resolve manufacturing discrepancies.

Position: 

Quality Control

Type:  

Full Time

Description: 

Minimum of five years experience in a broad range of industrial quality control and inspections functions within an ISO, FAA or equivalent QC system.

Qualifications: 

College/Associate /Technical degree, detail orientated, mechanically inclined, good communication and computer skills. Must have the ability to read drawings and utilize standard test and measurement tools.  Aircraft QC production and FAA regulation experience an asset.

Job Function:

  • Supplier evaluations, material receiving and stock room control.

  • In process and final inspections for conformity

  • Process Control and corrective and preventive actions.

  • Document organization and control

  • Training and Internal Audits.

  • Liaison with FAA
