Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Igor Pasternak founded Aeros over 25 years ago, building his business from the ground up. Known for pushing the boundaries of technology, Mr. Pasternak sets no limits to his creativity and execution of grand ideas. As the company grew, he inspired many talented people to join Aeros to become a part of his lifelong vision. Also as Aeros` Chief Engineer, he is the creator of the Aeroscraft, a new type of cargo air vehicle that encompasses true vertical take-off and landing capability at maximum payload, while operating independently of external ballast. He is also one of the worlds leading experts in the design and construction of the FAA Certified Airships, in which the company continues to participate in all major U.S. Government programs related to Lighter Than Air (LTA) Aircrafts.

 

Guided by his vision, Aeros has produced a more efficient air transportation vehicle with the Aeroscraft, a vehicle that will revolutionize military and commercial cargo transport. Mr. Pasternak is also focused on utilizing the Aeroscraft to streamline logistics for the Wind Energy Industry to help increase power generation through the production, transportation and installation of larger wind turbine components.

 

Mr. Pasternak has been twice honored with the Small Business Person of the Year Award. Through his leadership, Aeros has not only grown to become a global provider in advanced transportation solutions, but is equipped to take logistics to its full potential with the Aeroscraft.

Frederick Edworthy

Vice President, Business Development

Fred Edworthy has been an active member in leading the growth of Aeros` business for over 12 years. As Vice President of Business Development, he has solidified new business avenues, leading the sales team to supply Aeros FAA Airships to the United States, Germany, Trinidad, China and Thailand. Mr. Edworthy has not only guided numerous programs for Aeros’ 100 Tethered Aerostat Program, but was responsible for the company`s product line extension to create the 21M and 1170 Aerostat models.

 

Throughout his career, Mr. Edworthy has been instrumental in helping Aeros win U.S. Government programs including: Missile Defense HAA, DARPA Marts, U.S. Navy ELASS, and DARPA Walrus Programs; that have helped the company continue to grow in the defense sector. Also responsible for Quality Control Management at Aeros, he has guided the company’s possession of the FAA Production Certificate, while continuing to lead the Aeros Quality Department with calibrated success. Prior to joining Aeros, Mr. Edworthy was President and Founder of North Island, where he oversaw business development and operations of a number of corporations, building a business base from major corporate accounts throughout America that yielded great success for the company.

 

As the Vice President of Business Development at Aeros, Mr. Edworthy brings years of experience and unwavering dedication to our organization. He also strives to exponentially increase business for the current company portfolio, and open new markets to prepare for the Aeroscraft launch.

Carrie E. Cass, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Cass joined Aeros over a decade ago, creating the financial system infrastructure to support the successful growth and stability of the company. Her dedication to Aeros and her passion for the role has enabled her to evaluate the financial and administrative requirements necessary to not only meet operational goals, but ensure access to sufficient capital to support both short and long term operational needs. She has managed large-scale budgets and monitored compliance for government and commercial contracts, both foreign and domestic. As the years progressed, she has actively directed the financial operations for the company as it has grown exponentially.

 

Prior to joining Aeros, Ms. Cass was a founding partner at Johnston & Co., Certified Public Accountants, providing a full range of accounting services, including financial statement audits, internal control procedures review and tax planning, for public, private and non-profit organizations in various industries.

Anatoliy Pasternak

Vice President, Production

Mr. Pasternak, Sr. has led all Aeros production activities for over 15 years. Under his supervision, Aeros manufactures products ranging from FAA Type Certified Airships and advanced tethered Aerostats to the highly anticipated variable buoyancy air vehicle, the Aeroscraft. Mr. Pasternak, Sr. has managed the production of the following Airship and Aerostat Programs: Aeros40A, Aeros50, Aeros40B, Aeros40D, MARTS1170 Aerostat Program, Aeros21M, Aeros 17M, Aeros25M and the RAVB Aeroscraft Program.

 

Prior to Aeros, Mr. Pasternak, Sr. was the Vice President of Neftegazstroi, the largest government pipeline corporation in the former Soviet Union. A high-ranking leader who managed the projects of over 5,000 employees, Mr. Pasternak, Sr. led the construction of countless oil and gas pipeline projects from Siberia to the boarders of Europe, as well as managing the construction of numerous underground pipeline depositories.

 

Mr. Pasternak’s significant experience in managing many employees to build incremental projects makes him a natural leader for Aeros’ manufacture/production team. He is dedicated to meet high-quality standards on every product Aeros builds.

Mansoor Kouchak

Vice President of Engineering

As Vice President of Engineering, Mr. Kouchak contributes ample experience as both an FAA Certification specialist and an FAA DER (Designated Engineering Representative). As an FAA DER, he has assisted Aeros in obtaining FAA Type Certificate (TC) for Aeros 40B and 40D airships, per airship design criteria (ADC).

 

Prior to joining Aeros, Mr. Kouchak had worked as Project Manager/Senior Stress Engineer at Consulting Aerospace Engineers, Inc., where he oversaw such projects as the conformity review of B747 to special freighters, as well as launched Lockheed’s P3 airplane “Open Sky Program.” He was also the President of AeroMod Engineering, Inc, where he completed many Supplemental Type certification programs (STC) of Boeing 737-700 (BBJ) and Global Express aircrafts. Mr. Kouchak has over 20 years experience in repair, alteration, modification and component testing for various aircrafts and helicopters for numerous FAA part regulations.

 

In preparation toward the launch of the Aeroscraft, Mr. Kouchak will be the sole director of managing FAA guidelines. He practices these regulations in every detail and project produced. Mr. Kouchak ensures that FAA operations are always met during every stage, and is confident that the Aeroscraft will meet all FAA standards to achieve airworthy success.

Demian Casey

Aeros Corporate Counsel

Mr. Casey manages Aeros’ legal issues in corporate and commercial law, including working on major contracts and subcontracts, and overseeing the policy for protecting Aeros’ proprietary and confidential information. He also supervises such projects as organizing the intellectual property portfolio among patents and trademarks, managing the company’s securities plans and represents Aeros during contract and business negotiations.

 

Prior to working at Aeros, Mr. Casey aggressively advocated for his client’s interests in large-scale corporate litigation in cases involving fraud, intellectual property, and other violation of Federal statutes. A published author on international legal issues, he is licensed to practice law in the states of California and New York.

 

Throughout his career at Aeros, Mr. Casey focuses on the growth of Aeros’ intellectual property portfolio, including the Aeroscraft patent portfolio, and contributes his expertise to enhance the overall corporate growth.

Shenny Yao

Vice President - Washington, DC Operations

Ms. Yao oversees Aeros’ Washington, D.C. operations, interfacing as the main liaison between Aeros and US Government offices.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Yao spent eight years as an active, hands-on Business Developer/Program Manager at Aeros. Her duties entailed overseeing commercial and government projects, identifying potential global customers, negotiations, marketing, customer relations.  
 
Ms. Yao holds an MBA from Pepperdine University, Global Enterprise Management from the University of Oxford (U.K), and a BS International Business from CSU.
