Aeros Awarded DoD SBIR Contract to Develop Low Cost Unmanned
Airship Sensor Platform

Aeros has been awarded a U.S. Department of Defense SBIR Phase I
contract to develop a Low Cost Unmanned Airship Sensor Platform. The
contract is sponsored by the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Small
Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program and managed by the U.S. Army
Space and Missile Defense Command (Huntsville,
AL).
The new airborne
platform will fulfill the MDA’s primary mission objective of observing
and recording boost phase ballistic missile launches. "Our company is
completely committed to the development of this advanced new airborne
sensor platform, with the highest degree of confidence for success at
meeting MDA’s mandate for this SBIR program,” said Igor Pasternak, Aeros
President.
