AEROS SECURES A LAUNCH CUSTOMER FOR THE AEROS 40B “SKY DRAGON” SERIAL NUMBER A40B-19 SURVEILLANCE PLATFORM

Today Aeros announced that a contract had been signed for the delivery of the Aeros 40B “Sky Dragon” Airship Serial Number A40B-19 to an undisclosed foreign government. The surveillance and law enforcement are the main applications for this airship.  This fact makes this Aeros 40B model the first in the history of the manned airship industry to serve solely as a surveillance platform unlike its predecessors.

The Aeros 40B airship will carry a sophisticated payload, such as EO/IR Camera and Microwave Equipment. The ability of the Aeros 40B to loiter over targeted areas for long durations makes it a perfect platform for surveillance operations.  The signing of this contract marks a significant step forward for Aeros in providing platforms for Law Enforcement Applications.
